Gangneung Arts Center, completed as a complex cultural art hall to be the central space for Winter Olympics cultural events

Designed by Gansam Architects & Partners, Gangneung Arts Center had dedication ceremony on 15th after 2-year-long construction.
Located adjacent to Gangneung Olympic Park, Gangneung Arts Center, as an opening stage of the Winter Olympics, holding a variety of exhibitions and events related to the IOC meeting and the Olympics, and will be used for the cultural space as the best performance hall in Yeongdong region after the Olympics.
It will provide the best environment for a multi-purpose performance hall with 1,000 seats, and through remodeling and extension of the facilities, it will become the central space of Gangneung performance culture as an art center to host various events.
